If a verification SMS is not received within 20 minutes, you can cancel the number via the Activations page to receive a full refund. The cancellation window is shown below the Cancel & Refund button on each active activation.
After 20 minutes, the activation expires and no automatic refund is issued. If you believe the failure was due to a genuine provider issue (e.g. the provider's number was not functional), please contact our support team and reference your activation ID. Verified provider failures are manually refunded by our team.
VirtSMS aims to minimize failed activations through smart provider routing, but delivery ultimately depends on external providers and the policies of individual platforms.
